A professional who sets up and operates machine to trim and shape breast of leather heels according to specifications. Responsibilities include:

• Sharpens cutting blade on grinding wheel and locks blade to ram of machine with wrench.
• Turns wheel to adjust cutting stroke of machine to height of heel.
• Sets lasted shoe on movable pin jack and pushes pin jack under or against cutting blade to trim and shape heel.
• May buff heel to prepare for varnishing.
